YOUR JOB

As Quality Assurance Manager, you will holistically drive the quality initiatives in the development team. You will identify and address risks, collaborate closely with the team, and ensure high quality standards throughout the project. Additionally, you will support the client on quality processes and contribute to the development of the QA department, while continuously developing your own skills.




Your Job’s Key Responsibilities Are

• Taking over the ownership of the quality in the project
• Planning, executing, and enhancing the testing strategy, release process, automation tests (UI, API, and performance), and documentation, while embedding them in the scrum team
• Ensuring quality without dedicated testers by enabling your scrum team and developing effective quality processes
• Ensuring compliance with team processes while proactively recommending and implementing improvements
• Consulting our clients on quality processes and continuously evolving the defect management process
• Identifying quality risks and support implementing proactive mitigation strategies throughout the software development lifecycle
• Monitoring of quality metrics and implementing corrective actions to support continuous improvement
• Contributing to the development of the QA department



Your Skills




Essential Skills

• 3+ years of professional experience in IT or software development area
• Excellent communication skills in German (C1) and English (B2/C1)
• Ability to manage critical situations with professionalism and composure
• In-depth understanding of the differences between quality control, quality assurance, and quality management
• Expertise in implementing and managing quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle
• Practical experience with UI automation and an interest in API and performance tests



Beneficial Skills

• Basic skills in programming
• Relevant certifications in the quality testing field (e.g. ISTQB Foundation Level)
• Working according to agile development processes (SCRUM, KANBAN, etc.)
