Quality Engineer (m/f/d)

We are currently looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team in Adelberg. In this role, you will take ownership of customer quality topics, manage complaints for new projects and field returns and collaborate closely with cross-functional and international teams to ensure the highest product quality standards. Responsibilities:Manage customer complaints for new projects, 0 km issues, and field returnsCoordinate the return and analysis of suspect partsLead root cause analyses in collaboration with cross-functional teamsPrepare and maintain detailed 8D reports to document corrective actions and resultsCommunicate and report complaint status and resolutions to customers as requiredUpdate and maintain relevant information in customer complaint portalsSupport the China-based quality team in all customer-related quality topics Requirements:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics , Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or a related field2+ years of quality experience in mechanical or electronics industries; automotive background is a plusDeep understanding of the 8D methodology with proven hands-on experience in successfully completed 8D casesExperienced in troubleshooting and analytical tools such as DOE, Fishbone, and 5 WhysSolid understanding of AIAG core tools such as APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, and MSAProficient in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)Experienced in using Minitab for statistical analysis and data interpretationFamiliarity with sensors and actuators or manufacturing processes such as injection molding, laser welding, resistance welding, assembly, or SMT is an advantageKnowledge of IATF 16949, VDA 6.1, VDA 6.3, and VDA 6.5 standards is beneficialHands-on mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentFluent in English and Chinese; additional languages are an asset What we offer:Permanent employment contractDynamic, international and collegial working environmentCompetitive salary and performance-based bonus30 days of paid vacation per yearAdditional company health insurance Height-adjustable desks for ergonomic working conditionsCompany mobile phone, also for private useFree parking spaces directly at the site Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.
