As a Quality engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating the development of quality systems across the European and UK regions. Establish and maintain relationships with regulatory quality authorities, ensuring timely tracking and interpretation of local regulatory standards. Consolidate, monitor, and drive the resolution of hardware and software quality issues. Improving the OTA iterative operation mechanism while complying with the requirements of product recalls, software updates, and information security regulations in various European countries. Provide professional support for the formulation and achievement of the company's overall product quality strategy and preparing export reports while providing valuable suggestions to the management. Your insights play a pivotal role in continuously enhancing customer satisfaction and mitigating risks of penalties or product recalls stemming from quality issues.
Responsible for quality indicators breakdown for European market, whether the vehicle is in development or in production, targets monitoring and risks identification.
Communication with testing institutions and technical service institutions, support division and vehicle project team to work on compliance audits of vehicle-related regulations, and collaboration with relevant departments to track and interpret the latest European regulations.
Responsible for avoidance issues input (including market key focus) of European market, establish and optimization of vehicle quality improvement process and system.
Lead registration work which related with European division, such as F-GAS, ECOC, battery registration and recycling regulations, carbon emissions & trading, etc.
Responsible for quality performance monitoring for European market, problem identification and analysis and countermeasures work out, promoting rectification on R&D and manufacturing.
Coordinating the overall planning and operations for OTA of vehicle models in the European market
Responsible for technical support, information collection and distribution of key issues for European market.
Bachelor’s degree or above, preferred majors include Statistics, Vehicle Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or similar qualification.
Several years of work experience in a similar role.
Understand the basic structure of vehicles and be familiar with the fundamental working principles of automotive electrical appliances.
Familiar with Whole Vehicle OTA Business Process, methods and tools related to vehicle software version management.
mainstream OTA, product quality metrics and quality management methodologies, proficient in commonly used quality statistical and analytical tools.
