Job Description
We are looking for an experienced developer to integrate our system with Ratehawk API for hotel availability and rates.


The project involves:
• Hotel Search (not started):
  Connect UI search field to Ratehawk hotel search API.
  Input: hotel name → Output: matching hotel ID (or "not found").


• Availability & Rates (in progress but too slow):
  Query availability & rates for a given month + the following month.
  Show results in a table (dates + rates).
  Respect Ratehawk’s limit of 6 API requests per minute (implement throttling/queuing).
  Optional: Check availability for 2 and 3 consecutive nights.


What we expect:
• Clean, modular code (backend + simple UI).
• Optimization of request handling (current version too slow).
• Delivery within 1.5 weeks.


Skills required:
• Strong experience with API integrations (REST/JSON).
• Backend (Python, Node.js, or similar).
• Handling rate limits & throttling.
• Basic frontend (table/list display).


Nice-to-have:
• Previous work with hotel booking APIs or Ratehawk specifically.


Deliverables:
• Functional hotel search & availability check.
• Optimized API integration (with 6 req/min constraint).
• Documentation for usage & future extensions.


Budget & Timeline:
Estimated ~40–50 hours of work.
Delivery expected within 1–1.5 weeks.
