Role Overview

As an R&D Engineer in Litho Process Development, you will be part of the Advanced Litho Process group within the Advanced Patterning department. Your responsibility will be to optimize, standardize, and develop patterning processes across multiple platforms, compatible with various integration schemes.

What You Will Do

1. Develop lithography processes for patterning and integrating advanced test site reticles.
2. Implement and optimize overlay control strategies and modeling for precise alignment of multiple layers, including back side alignment, during lithography development on 193 immersion DUV and EUV lithography systems.
3. Collaborate with researchers and process engineers from other teams (integration, CMP, etch, metrology) to enhance patterning performance.
4. Use coding (Matlab, Python, Julia, etc.) to analyze data with statistical and ML tools across various tools and processes.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues to optimize patterning flows.
6. Define standard designs for advanced logic, memory, and metro targets, incorporate them into next-generation masks, and validate on wafers.
7. Design E-tests and correlate results with process DoEs.
8. Coordinate with tool suppliers on joint development projects.

Who You Are

• You hold a PhD in Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science.
• You have experience in semiconductor processing and cleanroom environments.
• Experience with advanced lithography (193nm immersion/EUV) is advantageous.
• You are well-organized and eager to learn.
• You possess strong technical problem-solving skills and can multitask effectively.
• You communicate well and have good reporting skills.
• You are fluent in English.
