Hi! I've been fighting with the margins and padding on my Squarespace site–www.alecquig.com–for a good 18 months, and I just cannot get it to look good at all viewports using their editor. It can look okay on mobile, then there are huge voids of white space introduced at desktop viewports, or the margins will collapse into one another at tablet width. I've also had lots of problems with the focus points on the images I'm using translating well between viewports. At this point I don't think there's any way to do it except with custom code. I sell a high-ticket item, and if anything looks less than perfect, my credibilty craters–it's like having the buttons or the front pocket on your shirt all misaligned. I already have my own hosting account, so it also feels silly to be paying Squarespace a premium when one support agent after another has no solution to the problem. I'm appearing in a major newspaper this Sunday, and that exposure is causing me, far too late, to finally try to address this once and for all. If you can do this on *extremely* short notice, please let me know, otherwise I'd just like to get this done sooner rather than later.
