Regional Marketing Manager - Europe (f/m/d) 
 The opportunity  Hitachi Energy is a global technology leader that is advancing a sustainable energy future for all. We are looking for a Regional Marketing Manager for Europe who will be responsible for driving growth in the region through marketing activities. The role involves planning and implementing strategic marketing and customer engagement initiatives, designing marketing programs that meet regional business objectives and align with the global Hitachi Energy strategy. You will collaborate closely with business units and local sales organizations to execute marketing activities that drive sales and increase market share. The Regional Marketing Manager reports directly to the Regional Market Development Manager and is functionally part of Corporate Marketing. 
 Your Responsibilities 
  - Be a strategic bridge between country sales organizations, communications, government relations, and marketing teams to align on strategic priorities and objectives. 
  - Map and understand local customers’ decision journeys to develop promotional plans that improve customer engagement, lead generation, and company positioning. 
  - Support the definition and implementation of regional strategy by: 
   - Analyzing markets using the company’s business intelligence platforms and other relevant sources to identify opportunities, determine customer requirements, and inform growth segment strategies. 
  - Monitoring and analyzing competitors’ activities. 
  - Working in coordination with regional sales operations, global marketing, and relevant functions to provide data‑driven insights for strategic planning. 
  - Developing and maintaining databases and dashboards to track key market metrics and performance indicators. 
  - Communicating findings and recommendations through clear and concise presentations, charts, and graphs. 
  - Localizing global value propositions and segment marketing strategies for relevant market segments to meet regional customer needs. 
  - Planning and developing strategic marketing programs to generate qualified leads and grow sales in line with regional growth strategies (e.g., Account‑Based Marketing, marketing automation lead nurturing campaigns, marketing content development such as blogs, white papers, advertising, and other high‑impact promotional programs). Deliver on the regional marketing plan in collaboration with the global marketing team and regional sales leaders with a focus on profitable growth. 
  - Acting as the regional point of contact for global marketing campaigns and platforms (Eloqua, digital applications, etc.), working closely with digital communications. 
  - Working closely with the events team to align messaging, objectives, and KPIs for strategic events (tradeshows, conferences, customer events) in the region, collaborating with cross‑functional and cross‑business teams. 
  - Driving metrics‑based reporting across the region to demonstrate marketing ROI for spent money. 
  - Analyzing the performance of marketing campaigns to support year‑over‑year improvement of spend, real‑time campaign adjustment, and detailed insights on customer and prospect interest. 
  - Being accountable for annually set KPIs to measure performance and link activities to pipeline. 
  - Designing and leading together with regional businesses the customer journeys that ensure the right people are targeted, at the right time, with the right messages. 
   
  
 Your background 
  - B.A./B.S. degree and a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in strategic marketing, product marketing, business development in a B2B environment (technical, industrial, or energy/power segment preferred). 
  - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights. 
  - Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Python). 
  - Excellent communication and presentation skills. 
  - Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams. 
  - Experience with the direct project management – end‑to‑end from planning to delivery – of marketing campaigns and demand generation initiatives. 
  - Experience in marketing metrics, ROI, and reporting. 
  - Basic understanding of lead generation and marketing automation (preferably with Eloqua) and SFDC. 
  - Fluent command of English, both written and spoken; other languages are an advantage. 
  - Willingness to travel on business assignments. 
  - Flexible with demonstrated experience in leading and managing change communications. 
  - Strong project management, prioritization, and organizational skills with top‑notch attention to detail and the ability to move projects forward independently in a fast‑paced environment. 
  - Strong relationship management skills with internal and external partners at all levels.
