The Trust & Safety Regulatory Compliance role is a key position within our business and tech function, dedicated to delivering exceptional and inspiring experiences for Zalando's customers. As a pioneering member of Trust & Safety at Zalando, you'll play a pivotal role as we scale user- and creator-generated content, ensuring we protect users, meet regulatory standards, and uphold Zalando's reputation and public trust. We seek a strategic individual with a passion for safety, adept at navigating complex, fast-paced environments. With your expertise in regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and cross-functional collaboration, you will significantly advance Zalando's commitment to creating a safe and trustworthy experience for millions of users across 25 European markets.

What we’d love you to do (and love doing)

• Monitoring, assessing and steering the process for Notice and Action at Zalando - regularly aligning with expert teams and initiating process change requests with the relevant Business Units.
• Identifying strategic opportunities to align approaches, leverage existing resources, with a view to increase the quality, accessibility and effectiveness of compliance efforts.
• Draft key transparency and regulatory reports such as Zalando's DSA Transparency Report.
• Organising and compiling effective documentation and governance for regulatory compliance.
• Drive the development of scalable processes, policies, and training to ensure consistent and efficient regulatory compliance.
• Partner across the Zalando business to ensure effective regulatory compliance.

We’d love to meet you if

• You have 5+ Years of experience in a relevant field e.g. Trust and Safety or Compliance.
• You have proven experience in process ownership or management, with a track record of initiating and implementing tech and/or regulatory projects.
• You have experience in providing data-driven reports to leadership, highlighting key metrics, flagging potential issues and risks, and informing strategic decisions.
• You have knowledge and understanding of the European regulatory landscape with a particular focus on tech regulation.
• You have experience in change management and in driving compliance initiatives.
• You have strong interpersonal skills and excellent stakeholder management.
