    Sales Manager Job Description
    We are looking for a hands-on and results-driven Sales Manager to drive business for our Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in the Middle East and/or African market.
    You will focus on identifying new opportunities and managing sales engagements with utilities, EPCs, and developers, working closely with Gotion’s technical and operations teams in China to deliver tailored energy storage solutions.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Drive and support sales of grid-scale BESS solutions to utilities, project developers, and EPCs
    • Lead the sales cycle from prospecting to contract closing
    • Identify new project opportunities and engage with regional market stakeholders
    • Collaborate closely with engineering, R&D, and product teams to support proposals
    • Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor landscape
    • Represent Gotion at selected industry events and meetings
    • Provide regular reporting on pipeline status, customer feedback, and deal progress

    Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Energy-related discipline
    • At least 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in energy storage, renewables, EPC, or industrial power solutions
    • Experience in selling into Middle East or African markets
    • Strong communication and relationship-building skills across cultures
    • Fluent in Chinese and English; knowledge of a European language is a plus
    • Willingness to travel as needed
