SAP ABAP Consultant (m/f/d) – Permanent Position | Germany (Hybrid)

Overview

Our client, a well-established company with a strong SAP landscape, is looking for a talented SAP ABAP Consultant to join their internal development team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to digital transformation initiatives and complex SAP projects in a long-term, secure role.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and enhance custom solutions using ABAP and ABAP OO
Work closely with functional consultants to implement business requirements across various SAP modules
Support ongoing S/4HANA migration and greenfield developments
Perform code reviews, technical documentation, and performance optimizations
Develop interfaces (IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData) and integrate with third-party systems
Support testing, deployment, and maintenance of developed solutions

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of professional experience in SAP ABAP development
Solid understanding of core modules such as MM, SD, FI/CO, or EWM from a technical perspective
Experience with modern development practices (ABAP OO, CDS Views, Fiori/UI5 integration) is a plus
Familiarity with S/4HANA and SAP Cloud Platform desirable
Strong communication skills in German (B2+ minimum) and English
Structured, proactive, and team-oriented working style
Eligible to work in Germany (EU work permit or equivalent)
