Title: SAP ABAP Developer


Location: Bielefeld, Germany (Hybrid, 3 days per week in the office)


Type: Permanent


Salary: Up to €110,000 per year


About the Role:
We are partnering with a leading manufacturing organisation in Bielefeld to hire an experienced SAP ABAP Developer. This is a permanent position offering an excellent salary and the opportunity to work on innovative SAP projects, including S/4HANA implementations and system enhancements.


Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop and maintain custom SAP applications using ABAP programming language.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into efficient technical solutions.
• Support integration with SAP modules including SD, MM, FI/CO and PP.
• Debug, improve and enhance existing ABAP programs to improve performance.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Assist with S/4HANA migration and Fiori/UI5 developments if applicable.


Required Skills & Experience:
• Proven experience as an SAP ABAP Developer, ideally within a European manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP Objects, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements and Forms (RICEF).
• Experience with S/4HANA, CDS Views and ABAP for HANA is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori/UI5 development is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English and C1 level German minimum.
• Eligibility to work and live in Germany.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
