Masentó SAP are looking for a senior freelance SAP Basis Consultant to support our client in optimizing and managing their SAP landscape. This role is ideal for a seasoned expert who can advise on best practices, support complex system transitions, and contribute to high-performance, secure SAP environments.

• Germany Remote / Hybrid – Munich / Frankfurt
• Start : ASAP
• Duration : 6+ Months
• Languages - German & English Fluent

Your Role :

As a Lead SAP Basis Consultant , you will :

• Advise project and technical teams on SAP Basis best practices
• Assess current SAP system landscapes and identify areas for optimization
• Guide system upgrades, migrations (incl. cloud strategies), and implementation of new technologies
• Ensure system performance, compliance, and security in line with IT governance standards

Key Responsibilities :

• Optimize SAP Basis operations and architecture
• Identify and resolve system performance bottlenecks
• Support infrastructure planning and SAP version upgrades
• Implement and support SAP monitoring and system health tools

What We’re Looking For :

Required Skills :

• Proven expertise in SAP Basis administration
• Strong experience with SAP upgrades and infrastructure design
• Knowledge of performance tuning and system optimization
• Familiarity with SAP BTP, Solution Manager, and monitoring tools

Preferred :

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Quick grasp of complex systems and challenges
• Ability to thrive in agile and cross-functional teams
