Type : Full‑time/(up to 60% remote)

Project Overview:

The position supports a large‑scale public sector SAP HCM project focused on optimizing and automating testing processes. The role involves developing, executing, and automating functional integration tests using Tricentis Tosca , as well as coaching internal teams to independently manage test automation in the future.

The engagement contributes to the modernization and digital transformation of administrative IT systems by implementing structured test management and automation within SAP HCM.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute functional integration test cases for SAP HCM systems.
• Provide hands‑on coaching and mentoring to internal team members to build long‑term testing and automation competencies.
• Review, execute, and optimize automated test cases developed by other team members.
• Support implementation and continuous improvement of the test automation framework.
• Ensure effective documentation of test cases, results, and deviations.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure testing quality and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in large‑scale SAP HCM projects (budget > 10 million).
• Proven experience in test case development, execution, and documentation within SAP HCM environments.
• Strong ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned testing and automation tasks.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills to train internal staff.
• Experience working in structured, security‑conscious IT environments.
• Business operational proficiency in both English and German (spoken and written).

Must Have Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with Tricentis Tosca in SAP HCM test automation.
• Experience with test automation in SAP‑GUI, SAP FIORI, and SAP NetWeaver environments.
• Demonstrated experience coaching and mentoring in test automation projects.
• Familiarity with Windows Server environments and secure application operation.
• Proficient in both manual and automated test processes for SAP HCM systems.
