Our Hamburg-based client in port logistics is seeking support through SAP PM project coordination, project management, planning, and control.

Project Status/Position

The client plans to implement an SAP S/4HANA system with embedded EWM and integrated QM module for their subsidiary. Currently, inventory management is handled via a proprietary legacy system, to be replaced by the end of 2026. The project will be executed following the SAP Activate methodology.

Project Description

The complex scope involves implementing S/4 including EWM and QM, with additional stakeholder engagement, requiring dedicated and comprehensive project management.

Team size: up to 15 members at times

Tools used: Jira, Confluent, BPMN, Office Suite

Responsibilities

Supporting project planning and control, communication interfaces (steering committees, departments, external partners), governance, quality assurance, and project methodology adherence
Maintaining project documents and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Office)
Monitoring budgets, progress metrics (e.g., Earned Value), and service provider performance
Preparing decision documents and presentations
