Your role

Satellite Systems Engineer (m/w/d) – permanent employment in Bremen

Your Tasks

• Support spacecraft validation and verification on system level
• Define test specifications for system level tests and verification
• Coordinate system engineering activities
• Collaborate with Architects (m/f/d) and Subsystem Engineers (m/f/d):
• Perform analyses of satellite functional and interface requirements
• Flow down satellite requirements to subsystem level specifications
• Ensure compliance with satellite technical requirements
• Define satellite configuration and manage satellite internal and external interfaces
• Support generation of AIT plans and operation plans
• Supervise preparation of satellite tests and review test results
• Prepare for launch and flight phases, prepare launcher interfaces and operations data
• Support maintenance of spacecraft databases and simulators
• Contribute to project risk management for technical risks

Your Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, physics or equivalent
• Professional experience in satellite projects, preferably in phases AB and in verification field
• Experience in technical negotiations with the customer (m/f/d)
• Self-managed and proactive working style
• Ability to implement and work with processes
• Team player with coordination skills
• Working level proficiency in written and spoken English; German and other language skills are advantageous
