Key Responsibilities:

• Project engineer in the field of HVDC control technology for the SCADA components
• Creation and maintenance of the HMI, specifications and manuals
• Clarification of signal lists with internal interfaces and external customers & suppliers
• Maintenance of the central control technology - signal database (signal switching)
• System integration and commissioning of the various components in the test setup in Erlangen and Forchheim (ensuring error-free display and communication between the components, including signal tests).
• Implementation/support of acceptance tests with suppliers and customers
• Technical support during commissioning
• Mobile working is only possible to a limited extent and always requires individual agreement

Work Experience & Qualifications:

• Completed university degree (Bachelor, Master) in electrical engineering / automation technology / computer science
• Several years of professional experience (at least 3 years)
• In-depth understanding of WinCC OA
• Experience in project management, customer clarifications, working in complex teams
• Professional experience in the field of control technology for energy transmission systems
• Control technology integration of auxiliary systems
• Process/signal data processing
• Signal switching
• Function and application of database systems for signal switching
• Control technology protocols (IEC101, IEC104, IEC61850, OPC, DNP,...) and the corresponding communication structures
• Technical English, German not essential
