We are a 30-member, fast-growing Deep-Tech startup working at the interface of physics, chemistry, and materials science. Our mission: Production of high-purity 3C silicon carbide – a key material for modern power electronics and hydrogen production.

Your Mission

Recruiting:

• You find and inspire researchers, developers, and professionals for our team in Berlin and Osnabrück
• You directly address candidates – on LinkedIn, ResearchGate, or where the Scientific Community is moving
• You understand scientific résumés and have expertise in physics, chemistry, and/or materials science and recognize if someone fits us
• You build talent pipelines and accompany candidates from the first contact to the contract conclusion
• You work hand in hand with the team on detailed requirement profiles and understand who we need with which personal and professional qualifications
• You bring creative ideas for Employer Branding – Meetups, Hackathons, scientific conferences, LinkedIn posts, podcasts

Academic Relationships:

• You build and maintain relationships with universities and research institutes
• You represent our startup at career fairs, conferences, and symposia
• You organize guest lectures, post-doc workshops, and academic exchange programs for talent acquisition
• You develop cooperation with chairs for joint research or recruiting initiatives
• You establish our startup as an attractive employer in the academic world

Your Profile

• Experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or active sourcing in tech, life sciences, or R&D is an advantage
• Background in physics, chemistry, and/or materials science – studies or practical experience – or the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with complex topics
• Experience or great interest in networking with universities and institutes
• Startup mindset: hands-on, curious, team-oriented
• Strong communication, presentation, and networking skills
• Secure in German & English
