Our Client, a global leading Healthcare and Life Sciences company, is looking for an R&D Scientist.

Overview

Role summary and key focus areas: RNA-based projects in veterinary vaccines, with emphasis on evaluation of new technologies and cross-functional collaboration to support regulatory and commercialization efforts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate research projects focused on RNA-based veterinary vaccines, including evaluation of new technologies.
• Manage cross-functional and external collaborations, supporting regulatory and commercialization efforts.
• Plan and oversee animal studies, ensuring scientific and ethical compliance.
• Conduct sample analysis using ELISA, PCR, and virus neutralization tests.
• Develop and validate analytical assays in line with regulatory standards, ensuring data integrity and documentation.
• Supervise specific lab methods and mentor technical staff.

Qualifications

• Degree in veterinary medicine, biology, or a related scientific discipline
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and strong expertise in clinical procedures or microbiological/analytical methods
• German and English , both spoken and written
• Strong analytical thinking, organizational skills, and team collaboration
• Excellent communication abilities and a proactive, reliable work style
