With a strong focus on innovation, the Research Group “Quantum Technologies and Laser Reference” specializes in ultra-stable lasers, precision metrology and frequency combs. As the Project Lead R&D Laser Reference, you will play a key role in developing and leading research projects in advanced laser reference technologies.

You have...

• a PhD in physics with a strong background in frequency combs, cold atoms, quantum computing, photonic integrated circuits or similar
• ideally, a postdoc or industry experience in a related field
• a startup mindset, taking ownership in driving projects, hands-on mentality
• a proven track record of success and innovation in complex research or industrial projects
• excellent communication skills in English; German skills are a plus
