Group / Division

Enabling the movement toward advanced chip design, KLA's Measurement, Analytics, and Control group (MACH) is seeking research scientists, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers. The MACH team's mission is to collaborate with our customers to innovate technologies and solutions that detect and control highly complex process variations at their source, rather than compensate for them later in manufacturing. With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers worldwide rely on KLA to ensure their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Our MACH team develops leading-edge solutions for patterning, process analytics, and control technologies, providing critical insight at the feature, field, and cross-wafer levels. We also develop advanced modeling, simulation, data analytics, and process control technologies. Joining the MACH team means working with the most sophisticated process-control company in the semiconductor industry, solving complex technical problems in the digital age.

About the role

A Scrum Master at KLA:

• Is responsible for one or two teams.
• Coaches the team, the department, and the organization about agile values.
• Supports the Product Owner and developers in the team to deliver a valuable product.
• Shapes our working environment and work processes with ideas and drives our team to get better.
• Challenges management with the teams' needs to become self-organized.
• Collaborates and aligns with other ScrumMasters.

About you

• You are a certified (e.g., PSM, CSM) Scrum Master with proven experience in agile software development and/or a suitable university degree.
• You are passionate about helping and coaching colleagues.

• You should enjoy developing software that solves our customers' problems as much as we do.

How we hire

4. Second interview with your manager and team member, often a friendly, less formal conversation. Some interviews may be remote, with at least one in person, including an office tour, lunch, and team insights.

Minimum Qualifications

• University degree in a technical, social, or economic field (e.g., psychology, economics, communication science, natural sciences, informatics, physics), or comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in agile software development and as a Scrum Master.
• Scrum or similar agile certification is advantageous but not essential; an agile mindset is more important.
• Experience in scaled agile environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of other agile methods (Kanban, XP, Lean) is beneficial.
• Proactive in seeking improvement potentials and exchanging ideas.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
