Security Engineer – Leipzig area (d/m/w) – Up to €75,000

• Collaborate with external security providers and partners, ensuring their services align with internal standards and security objectives
• Act as a trusted point of contact for colleagues, offering guidance on secure software architecture and system configuration
• Manage vulnerability processes, including the monitoring, prioritization, and organization of security measures with technical teams
• Contribute to the establishment and implementation of ISMS, ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks
• Define and apply identity and privilege management policies
• Strengthen OS security through hardening and configuration
• Investigate phishing and other security incidents, coordinating appropriate responses and running awareness campaigns to reduce risk
• Administer and enhance central security solutions, such as antivirus, identity platforms, firewalls, and VPN environments

Desired Skills and Experience

• Obtained a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or similar
• 3+ years of professional experience in IT Security (Network, System, Firewalls, VPN, etc.)
• Specifically, experience in Hardening, Endpoint Security, and Identity Access Management (IAM)
• Experience in ISMS, ISO-27001, and VMWare
• Ideally, experience in Cloud security
• Fluency in German & English
