Your Responsibilities As Segment Developer Pulp & Paper (f/m/d) you drive the growth of tailor-made, large-scale energy solutions that support our clients’ European expansion, decarbonization, and competitivenessYou analyze market trends, customer needs, competitors, and industry developments to identify and pursue business opportunitiesYou define sales strategy, generate leads, and build a strong project pipeline, aligning all activities across E.ONYou shape E.ON’s solution portfolio and market approach, supporting overall business developmentYou develop segment-specific value propositions, offerings, and go-to-market approachesYou build long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders, and establish a strong industry networkYou create business cases and integrated energy concepts, lead contract negotiations, and present proposals to clients and E.ON ManagementYou promote decarbonization with technologies like CHP, biomass, recycled energy, Waste2Energy, carbon capture, green molecules, PV, heat pumps, fuel cells, e-boilers, and digital tools like IQ EnergyYou take ownership of project management tasks in international, cross-functional teams, collaborating closely with project development until handover to implementation Your Qualifications Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, economics, or energy with a strong technical background (MBA beneficial)Insights of Pulp and Paper business, ideally with experience in business, solution or project developmentCustomer acquisition / sales experience required, ideally an established network in the pulp and paper industry useful for business developmentEntrepreneurial thinking with the ability to take initiative and show a high level of commitment to problem structuring and taking responsibility for implementation.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building effective relationships with customers and stakeholders in an international environment as well as German and English proficiencyProfound experience in business and/or project development, ideally in industrial energy solutions, including decarbonization of the industryAbility to integrate technical, commercial, and legal aspects of projects, managing internal and external interfacesFamiliarity with energy system conceptual design, including regulatory and energy economic aspects Our Benefits High flexibility: Fit your work to your life with our hybrid working model, flexible working hours and options for sabbaticals or extra holiday allowanceWorkation option: Make Europe your office!
