Our Stuttgart based client is currently searching for a Semiconductor Device Design Engineer to be responsible for developing physical models for electrical, optical and thermal behaviour of quantum devices. The role will involve performing advanced device simulations using FEM tools (COMSOL) and TCAD software. Validating device models against experimental data and extracting key device parameters will be an important part of the role.

Required skills

• Strong semiconductor device physics and modelling and simulation experience
• Hands‑on experience with FEM-based simulation tools, particularly COMSOL Multiphysics, for semiconductor device modelling
• Knowledge and expertise on wide bandgap materials such as diamond a plus
• PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related discipline with a strong focus on semiconductor devices
