Who we are looking for

A successfully completed degree in economics, business administration, or a comparable business qualification, ideally complemented by further training as a Certified Accountant.
Several years of professional experience in general ledger accounting or auditing.
In-depth knowledge of accounting under HGB and IFRS, with the ambition to address matters in a holistic and sustainable way.
Enjoyment in thinking outside the box, taking responsibility, and actively shaping topics in cross-functional collaboration.
Strong Excel skills, ideally complemented by experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
Clear, reliable, and proactive communication skills in both German and English.
Enthusiasm for working in a dynamic, virtual environment together with colleagues in Germany and abroad.

What you can expect

You ensure the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and HGB, while keeping a firm grip on the daily business.
You analyze and handle complex accounting issues with a focus on provisions, accruals, revenue recognition, and receivables valuation.
You actively contribute your expertise on accounting and reporting matters.
You serve as a reliable point of contact for auditors, controlling, and other internal stakeholders.
You take responsibility for internal controls and contribute your expertise to exciting accounting projects.
You identify optimization opportunities in our processes, proactively put them on the agenda, and drive their implementation in collaboration with your team and other finance teams.
