Senior Accountant

Overview

Join to apply for the Senior Accountant role at Accord Healthcare in Munich, Germany. In this full‑time permanent position you will take responsibility for local accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Daily accounting and accurate booking of AP, AR, banks, general ledger entries, payments
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and subledgers
• Ensure correct booking and maintains balances for accruals, tax and salary
• Support the Accounting Manager during monthly consolidated process
• Liaise with external providers to ensure timely submission and payment of VAT and other tax
• Investigate and resolve year‑end, internal and tax audits findings and issues of non‑compliance
• Propose and implement optimization of financial processes and procedures

Qualifications

• Considerable amount of experience in a similar role in a fast paced international environment
• Full understanding of accounting principles
• Strong knowledge of tax laws, IFRS and HGB
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or similar
• Working knowledge of SAP or any major ERP
• German and English fluent
