    Senior Accountant (German Speaking)
    Based in our Frankfurt or Prague offices, we are looking for a Senior Accountant that speaks German which key responsibility will be to produce the monthly financial and management report for the German subsidiary of the Sécheron Hasler Group.

    Subledger Accounting
    • Accurately control and process all business transactions related to account payable, account receivable and travel expense.
    • Follow up on PO matching and invoice approval to ensure timely processing.
    • Follow-up on supplier account and reminders.
    • Ensure accurate customer statement for cash collection.
    • Perform closing activities for AP and AR.
    • Carrying out weekly payments.

    Main Tasks In General Accounting And Reporting
    • Preparation of the monthly and yearly closing including accrual calculation, inventory and WIP entries, intercompany accounts management and reconciliations.
    • Monthly salary entry and payment.
    • Cash entries (in & out) and cash forecast.
    • Prepare audit and tax documentation. Lead internal and audit queries.
    • Contribute to the budget activity.
    • Participate to year-end inventory review and stocktake.
    • Financial processes improvement with related documentation and internal controls management and review.
    • Work closely with the Head of accounting on accounting and reporting harmonization, as well as timely response to queries.
    • Preparation and submission of VAT return and statistical reporting.
    • Preparation of business analyses in close coordination with Controlling.
    • Perform balance sheet account reconciliation.

    Requirements
    • Accounting diploma or equivalent.
    • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in an international environment.
    • Fluency in German and a good command of English.
    • ERP knowledge and experience (Lexware).
    • Good knowledge of Excel.
