We are looking for a full-time and permanent Senior Accountant (m/f/d)  to join our headquarters in Darmstadt.

As a Senior Accountant (m/f/d) , you will work in a global finance team and be our main contact for financial service providers and advisors in Germany. 
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and US-GAAP. 
 - Record business transactions systematically and chronologically. 
 - Make national and international bank payments. 
 - Supervise and handle receivables management and dunning. 
 - Monitor financial transactions, including income and expenses, as well as related invoicing and payment processing. 
 - Work closely with our US parent company Transnetyx in the areas of budgeting, accounting, and reporting. 
  
What sets you apart 
- Have a degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a comparable field of study. 
 - Ideally, have completed further training as a balance sheet accountant (m/f/d) or tax specialist (m/f/d). 
 - Have very good knowledge of German and English (written and spoken). 
 - Have a basic understanding of US GAAP and its differences to HGB. 
 - Have a good understanding of German corporate tax, trade tax law, and VAT requirements. 
 - Have several years of experience in financial accounting, preferably as an individual accountant responsible for annual financial statements. 
 - Experience with accounting software and ERP systems, ideally Oracle NetSuite, and proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. 
 - High sense of responsibility, structured, and independent working style.
