We are looking for a full-time and permanent Senior Accountant (m/f/d) to join our headquarters in Darmstadt.

As a Senior Accountant (m/f/d) , you will work in a global finance team and be our main contact for financial service providers and advisors in Germany.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and US-GAAP.
• Record business transactions systematically and chronologically.
• Make national and international bank payments.
• Supervise and handle receivables management and dunning.
• Monitor financial transactions, including income and expenses, as well as related invoicing and payment processing.
• Work closely with our US parent company Transnetyx in the areas of budgeting, accounting, and reporting.

What sets you apart

• Have a degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a comparable field of study.
• Ideally, have completed further training as a balance sheet accountant (m/f/d) or tax specialist (m/f/d).
• Have very good knowledge of German and English (written and spoken).
• Have a basic understanding of US GAAP and its differences to HGB.
• Have a good understanding of German corporate tax, trade tax law, and VAT requirements.
• Have several years of experience in financial accounting, preferably as an individual accountant responsible for annual financial statements.
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems, ideally Oracle NetSuite, and proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• High sense of responsibility, structured, and independent working style.
