Senior Accountant (m/w/d)

The Zellerfeld Shoe Company is revolutionizing the shoe industry with the world's first 3D printing technology for fully customizable shoes. The Hamburg-based start-up develops and produces shoes that are tailored to the individual foot measurements of its customers, using sustainable and waste-free production methods. Zellerfeld has set itself the goal of bringing 3D-printed shoes to every foot in the world.

Aufgaben

• Preparation of monthly, annual, and consolidated financial statements in accordance with HGB and US GAAP
• Consolidation in accordance with US GAAP
• Management of e-commerce accounting processes, including the administration of online payment systems and sales channels
• Optimization of accounting processes, with a focus on efficiency and automation
• Acting as the main contact person for tax consultants, auditors, and internal stakeholders
• Supporting the implementation and further development of our ERP system
• Processing international sales tax issues related to e-commerce

Qualifikation

• Proven track record in accounting, including the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• Strong expertise in German commercial law (HGB) and tax regulations
• Solid experience with international accounting standards (IFRS)
• Strong analytical skills and a passion for building efficient, scalable workflows
• Collaborative mindset, with the ability to build relationships across teams and act as a reliable point of contact
• Fluent in English (german favourable)
