Senior Accounts Payable Specialist (m/w/d)

For our client, we are looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join a dynamic finance team supporting operations in a high-tech, international environment. This role focuses on managing accounts payable processes with precision and efficiency, contributing to smooth financial operations and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and post incoming invoices and transactions using SAP S4/HANA, including special ledger entries
• Accurately record bank transactions
• Handle asset accounting entries related to vendor invoices
• Execute payment runs within SAP
• Monitor and resolve outstanding items in vendor accounts
• Review and process corporate credit card statements in line with internal policies

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in accounts payable, with solid knowledge of German and EU VAT regulations
• Skilled in handling vendor transactions linked to purchase orders (SAP MM module experience preferred)
• Proficient in SAP S4/HANA (preferred)
• Strong interest in AP processes and related tax matters
• Reliable, proactive, and collaborative team player
• Fluent in English; German language skills are advantageous
