We are looking for a Senior AI Consultant to support public sector customers in Berlin, Düsseldorf or Vienna. The position is full‑time and starts as soon as possible.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop concepts to optimize processes and digital services using generative AI in the public sector.
• Act as the interface to AI innovation, public sector regulations and data management, assessing the feasibility of AI‑driven use cases.
• Collaborate closely with customers to define strategies and data/AI goals for their initiatives and projects.
• Co‑create dedicated AI‑service offers with the Public Sector Account Team to win new and existing customers.
• Lead the implementation of AI projects as a Lead Consultant.
• Work closely with AI‑Consultants, Data Scientists and Data Engineers, and join the IBM iX Data & AI Practice.
• Create new offerings based on public sector regulations and market trends, ensuring the portfolio remains future‑proof.
• Represent IBM iX as a subject‑matter expert on AI topics at industry, network and client events and speak where appropriate.

Your Qualifications

• University degree and several years of experience implementing AI projects (preferably but not required in the public sector).
• Ability to present AI use cases clearly to stakeholders at different hierarchy levels.
• Motivation to proactively accompany public sector customers on their AI journey.
• Fundamental knowledge of common technologies in AI implementation and data governance.
• Curiosity about trends, technologies and digital business models, with excellent communication skills.
• Good English and very good German (C1/C2).
