Join to apply for the Senior Application Security Engineer (f/m/d) role at JTL-Software-GmbH .

Further develop our Secure Software Development Lifecycle — from architecture and CI/CD to operations.
Bring security into developers’ daily work: IDE plugins, SAST, security unit tests, golden images.
Analyze risks (threat modeling) and help teams handle them pragmatically.
Coach developers and product owners on security topics — as a trusted peer.
Make security measurable, understandable, and scalable.

A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in Application Security, with a strong focus on Secure Development.
Solid proficiency in at least one programming language, as well as experience in scripting and automation.
A strong understanding of modern security standards and frameworks such as OWASP ASVS or NIST.
The ability to work independently with a high level of technical expertise and a pragmatic approach.
Excellent communication skills to convey complex security requirements in a clear and comprehensible manner.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken; good German skills are an advantage.
