Senior Art Director - Lounge by Zalando (all genders) - 12 months fixed contract. Join Lounge by Zalando to lead the creative direction of daily production, mentor other art directors, and take on responsibilities akin to a creative director on selected projects.

You will work closely with the Creative Direction Team Lead to bring bold and innovative ideas to life through photo, AI, CGI and video content, ensuring consistency and enhancing the visual narrative of Lounge by Zalando.

Responsibilities

• Drive visual quality across all daily e-commerce content to consistently raise the bar, maximize brand impact, and improve conversion.
• Supervise a team of Art Directors to refine and implement image, AI, CGI and video guidelines for the brand.
• Collaborate with Brand & Creative, Marketing and Retail teams to ensure visuals align with business objectives and drive performance.
• Stay ahead of trends to keep Lounge’s creative output innovative and culturally relevant.
• Manage multiple large-scale projects from start to finish, working with core team members to realize concepts at a high level.
• Demonstrate strong expertise in executing campaigns within budget while pushing creativity and meeting key KPIs.

What we’d love you to bring

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in art direction/creative direction from an advertising agency, fashion brand, fashion magazine, or relevant field with a strong portfolio.
• Experience with GenAI tools in creative processes, alongside traditional tools (Gemini, Firefly, MidJourney, Comfy UI, Adobe Creative Suite, CaptureOne, Digital Photography).
• Strong understanding of e-commerce trends and a sharp eye for fashion-focused visuals.
• Ability to translate business objectives and brand requirements into compelling creative strategies.
• Clear communicator with the ability to present creative ideas effectively.
• Proactive, reliable, collaborative, and solution-oriented under pressure.
• Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; strong attention to detail.
