Senior Automation Engineer

Greater Freiburg Area, Germany - Up to €90,000 (d / m / w)




Based in South West Germany, an innovative and ferociously expanding company is offering an unparalleled Senior Automation Engineer role.

This special company develops world-leading Networking and Energy Solutions, where they are now positioned as a leader in their market. During this exciting time, they urgently require a Senior Automation Engineer to utilize their specialist skills to fuel the progression of the company.



Responsibilities
• Conduct technical diagnostics of quality-related issues (e.g., damage analysis)
• Provide expert guidance to internal departments such as procurement, production planning, and sales
• Develop and update technical documentation (including assembly guides and work instructions)
• Contribute to risk analysis processes and FMEA reviews
• Collaborate with suppliers to establish technical agreements
• Deploy and implement new system developments at client locations and assist our service teams with customer-site support
• Perform functional tests using our in-house testing equipment
• Enhance and refine existing automation solutions
• Execute programming tasks based on customer orders using Siemens TIA Portal


Desired Skills and Experience
• Completed a degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or similar
• 5+ years experience working as an automation engineer
• Experience working with TIA portal and S7
• Willingness to travel internationally
• Fluency in German and English is mandatory
