Backend Developer (m/f/d) - AI/ML / SaaS

The cutting-edge AI startup that's transforming HR with a new kind of human resources SaaS platform. We're seeking a motivated Backend Developer to develop the engine that powers the solutions and contribute to the company's growth.

You'll be a key part of the team, responsible for developing and maintaining the backend of the innovative platform.

What You'll Do:

Design, build, and maintain the core backend services and APIs that power our application.
Work with our data-driven approach to ensure our platform is ethical, effective, and scalable.
Collaborate with the team to solve complex problems and build a world-class product.
Take ownership of your work, from initial design to deployment.

What We're Looking For:

5+ years of professional experience in backend or full-stack web development
Strong communication skills in English (German is desirable)
Backend development with Python (FastAPI preferred) or similar frameworks
Relational databases such as PostgreSQL (schema design, optimization, queries)
REST API design and implementation
Version control with Git
(Nice to have) Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
(Nice to have) Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
