Each day they’re hunting for new sales opportunities with current clients and providing knowledgeable, honest, and friendly advice; it’s all about balancing a commercial mindset with building long-term relationships.

About The Role
As a Senior Business Development Manager, we want you to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions through high calibre narratives and work cross-organizationally to build trust and engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver defined go-to-market programs in close collaboration with Climb and Vendors
  • Provide generalist Industry BD support, with industry awareness and broad expertise in Climb Portfolio providing training and knowledge share to partner and customers.
  • Be the focal point in the region about Cybersecurity, AI-Trainings, Vendors and Solutions.
  • Targeting the new and exciting partner and customer regarding Security
  • Provide feedback on opportunities and sales activity
  • Provide regular reports as required by the vendor, which may include weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
  • Manage special pricing or high value sales opportunities
  • Work with vendors on shows, exhibitions and general sales activities
  • Engage with key decision makers within targeted resellers
  • Assist the Marketing team with marketing activity as required
  • Perform sales floor walks and necessary innovative sales activities at reseller offices
  • Assist resellers sales personnel as necessary, and as commercially prudent, in pre-sales activities

Internal Liaison and Development:

  • Work closely with Climb Marketing and Sales team to communicate, develop and understand activity required by reseller
  • Work with internal management on Business Intelligence and analytical activities
  • Assist in the creation of Business Development plans

Generate New Business Sales and Opportunities:

  • Stimulate sales activity within the resellers
  • Progress and follow up vendor leads
  • Ensure timely and lucrative closure of key sales opportunities

About You
We want you to have a minimum of five years sales experience within distribution or the channel. Our most successful people are commercially minded, focused, supportive, pragmatic and creative.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must be located in Germany.
  • Candidate must be business fluent or native speaker in German, business fluent in English as a second language is a must.
  • A ‘Hunter’ mentality with a competitive, honest, trusted, and reliable personality.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to start and build relationships with customers and partners.
  • Understand the complete sales cycle and margin building.
  • Customer focused.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills representing a professional image.
  • A quick learner and someone who will consistently look to build up on knowledge.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Proactive and ambitious to progress.
  • A proven record of onboarding and expanding customer relationships and growing profits.

Salary and Benefits
Salary plus commission OTE €70-100K
