Senior Cloud Consultant - Cloud Security (all genders)

YOUR ROLE

• Cloud Analysis: Analyze clients' existing cloud environments, identify vulnerabilities, risks, and potential improvements in cloud security.
• Concept Development: Assist in developing and implementing security, governance, and identity concepts for cloud environments based on standards and recommendations of hyperscalers.
• Consulting & Best Practices: Advise clients on best practices in network security, access control (IAM), encryption, monitoring & logging, and compliance.
• Implementation: Implement security measures using cloud-native services like Azure Policy, AWS Config, CSPM, IAM policies, and key management.
• DevSecOps: Contribute your experience in DevSecOps processes, integrating security checks into CI/CD pipelines.
• Automation: Use automation tools such as Terraform, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions to create secure and traceable infrastructures.

YOUR PROFILE

• Education & Experience: Completed IT-related studies or training with several years of experience in cloud or IT security.
• Cloud Security Knowledge: Experience in securing cloud infrastructures (Azure, AWS, GCP), preferably in client projects.
• Expertise & Compliance: Knowledge of IAM, roles, permissions, security policies, monitoring, SIEM, network security, and compliance standards like GDPR, ISO 27001, BSI C5.
• Tools: Familiarity with Terraform, PowerShell, Bash, and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI.
• Certifications: Ideally, hold or aim to acquire certifications like AWS Security Specialty or Azure AZ-500.
• Languages: Proficient in German and good in English.
