Senior Consultant (m/f/x) - Business Systems Management

Position: Senior Consultant (m/f/x) - Business Systems Management

On behalf of a renowned client in the life sciences industry, we at Progressive Recruitment are currently looking for a Freelance Senior Consultant, Business Systems Management (m/f/x) to support an exciting project.
Your Responsibilities:
* Manage the full life cycle of Clinical Data Warehouses and Statistical Computing Environments (e.g. SAS, R)
* Provide technical consulting for projects involving patient-level and real-world data using Google Cloud BigQuery, AWS (S3, Redshift), ETL tools (e.g. Informatica), and BI technologies
* Develop and implement innovative solutions and best practices in Clinical Data Engineering
* Create and maintain system-related documentation (SOPs) in compliance with GxP, GDPR, and Data Governance standards
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Statistics, Data Science, IT) to ensure efficient data workflows
Your Profile:
* Degree in Computer Science, Life Sciences, Statistics, or a related field
* Solid understanding of clinical research, real-world evidence, and clinical data science
* Several years of experience managing data platforms in a clinical or pharmaceutical setting
* Expert-level skills in Google Cloud BigQuery, AWS (S3, Redshift), and ETL tools like Informatica
* Experience with R-Shiny, Python, and EDC systems (e.g. Medidata Rave) is a plus
* Familiarity with GxP, GDPR, GAMP5, and computer system validation
* Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
* Structured, solution-oriented mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills
Project Details:
* Start Date: ASAP
* End Date: 30 June 2026
* Extension: Possible
* Workload: 5 days/week (40 hours/week)
* Location: 100% Remote
* Contract Type: Freelance
