What You Will Do


• Analyzes business data, providing assessments of trends, identifying and explaining variances from goals.  Elicits and documents business requirements to produce meaningful insights and metrics, identifying trends and insights that improve business performance. Designs, develops and implements business intelligence dashboards and reports to facilitate data review and analysis.
• Proactively analyzes results to Champion Security Operations and Product Support process improvements, best practices and knowledge sharing within the organization as it pertains to business intelligence, analytics and data integration capabilities.
• Sound knowledge of fundamental Operational data concepts, practices and procedures of specific domains and technologies with specific experience on Zendesk, Taegis Alerts, Investigations and HC Data.  Define, analyze and work with the data modelers and architects on the team to implement structured Data Models. Creates and distributes both routine and complex ad-hoc reports.
• Maintains databases, cleansing and validating data as needed. Develops database logic to extract required information for reporting.
• Will be aligned to a number of Business Pillars namely Operations, CSM, Product Support and CX and will become an expert in their business, processes and procedures that will allow proactive communication of new data points and acumen about their business.

What You Will Bring


• 8 to 10 years of experience in Operational Business Intelligence and Analytics role or similar roles with experience demonstrating Business Acumen and Financial Analysis.
• Has familiarity with all operational data sources, KPI’s and Operational SLOs/SLAs and the measurement thereof. 
• 5-8 years of scripting experience including Python, SQL, My SQL and integration of multiple data points into structured data models.
• Ability to collaborate and work in a geographically-dispersed team.

Preferred Skills


• Strong Tableau Development skills.
• Grafana, Power BI skills desired.
• Experience in working in a dynamic environment with short turnaround times.
• Flexible to work across multiple time zones.
• An awareness of JSON scripts, MySQL and Postgres SQL and how they benefit BI, a working and practical knowledge will be taught in the role.
• Cyber Security Acumen.
