The client is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with a strong background in industrial automation and machinery. This role will focus on designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines and solutions that support industrial processes and machinery performance. The ideal candidate combines deep data engineering expertise with practical experience in the industrial sector, helping the company leverage data to drive efficiency and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures for industrial applications.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze and optimize data processes related to machinery and industrial automation systems.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility for analytics and operational use cases.
• Identify opportunities to streamline data workflows and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate on integrating IoT and sensor data into enterprise systems.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior data engineers.

Candidate Profile:

Proven experience as a Data Engineer, preferably with a focus on industrial automation, machinery, or manufacturing.
Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and data engineering tools.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerized environments is a plus.
Familiarity with IoT, sensor data, and industrial protocols is highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
Fluent in English; German language skills are advantageous.
