Overview

Senior Data Engineer (f/d/m) remote role at RaiseNow . Design scalable architectures, build high‑quality data pipelines, set trusted, analytics‑ready data standards across RaiseNow. Work 32‑40 hours/week, fully remote within Germany or office in Berlin.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize our Data Warehouse architecture to ensure scalability, performance, and future readiness.
• Build and maintain reliable data pipelines delivering high‑quality, trusted data across RaiseNow.
• Implement and track data quality standards to guarantee accuracy, consistency, and governance.
• Model and prepare data for reporting and analytics, enabling clear insights for decision‑making.
• Balance complexity with simplicity: design modular, maintainable, reusable solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (management, RevOps, marketing, product).

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in modelling, building, maintaining, refactoring, and monitoring a Data Warehouse.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and tools such as AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda, CloudWatch), Terraform, Snowflake, dbt, Prefect, Tableau.
• Strong drive to deliver scalable systems and anticipate future needs.
• Structured working method, organisational skills, stakeholder‑oriented communication, ability to mentor junior engineers.
• Knowledge of compliance, GDPR, security standards, access control.
• Excellent written and spoken English (C1 level).
