This group has 4 arms:

A Data Provider: Assessing the performance and sustainability of companies worldwide.

AI: An advisory and technology company with an AI engineer for forecasting investment opportunities

Asset Management: Investment management company investing in sustainable equities

They focus on R&D of AI, ML, Data, Finance and sustainability.

This company has development hubs in London and Frankfurt, you can choose which you are based at. There is also the option for Home Office but you will be required to travel to the office when needed so being located within a few hours of either of these cities would be hugely beneficial.

The Job

Take charge of the processes, from Data ingestion to calculation and delivery.

Working with Modern Tech for maintaining & developing the Data pipelines. These need to extract, transform & load data from a variety of sources into their systems.

Keep track and guarantee a high level of data quality and consistency.

Maintain the processes for obtaining and importing data for immediate use/storage.

Take charge of guiding & mentoring more junior colleagues.

Solve problems related to data processing & collection.

Experimentation with Data.

Stay up to date with all the latest Data Tools & Technologies.

The Candidate

5+ years Data Engineering

Strong programming skills (ideally Python, Go is a plus)

Cloud technologies (e.g. GCP, AWS)

Experience with ElasticSearch

You are a wizard in SQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL and distributed databases

ETL and DWH (Concepts, Tools, Architectures, Technologies) etc

Knowledge of Kafka, Pub/Sub or similar

Analytical and driven candidate with enthusiasm for modern Data and Big Data Technology.

Experience & confidence taking the lead in projects.

Professional English.

Nice to Have: Spark, Hadoop, Kinesis, GCP, AWS, Kinesis, ML Methods and tools, Mobile tracking technologies.
