Senior Data Engineer (m/f/d)

Overview

As part of our DISE team, you will be responsible for data modeling, big data architectures and cloud infrastructures. Design, further development and performance of data platforms are your hobbyhorse. You maintain an overview of unstructured/structured data from sources, are responsible for enriching it and combining it via stream or batch for consumers such as data science. You are able to use your expertise to optimize our customers’ operations and develop concepts for them that ensure transparency and maintainability of data platforms. You will provide new and existing data pipelines with low latency with regard to near-real-time usecases.

What do we expect from you?

• You have at least 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar position.


• You have mandatory programming skills in a common language such as Python, Java or Scala.


• Explaining complex topics in a way that is understandable and comprehensible to everyone is no problem for you, as you are characterized by strong communication skills.


• You score points with knowledge of at least one cloud technology (GCP, AWS or Azure) and are a professional in the design of streaming architectures (e.g. event-driven, lambda, kappa,…)


• Fluent German and good English skills round off your profile.
