Senior Database Administrator (Part-Time, Remote)

• Manage and optimize Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) database environments
• Perform advanced configuration and performance tuning on Oracle Exadata systems
• Support critical database infrastructure for enterprise-level applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database reliability and efficiency

• Design and implement database architecture solutions in OCI
• Monitor and maintain database performance, availability, and security
• Execute database migrations, upgrades, and consolidation projects
• Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies
• Troubleshoot complex database issues and provide root cause analysis
• Create and maintain comprehensive database documentation
• Participate in on-call rotation for critical database support

• 7+ years of experience as a Senior Database Administrator
• Expert-level knowledge of Oracle Database and Exadata systems
• Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
• Proven experience with database performance optimization
• Ability to work part-time with 50%+ overlap with EST time zone
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Oracle certifications preferred (OCP, OCE)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Remote work capability with secure home office setup

• Proven experience in installing and configuring Oracle E-Business Suite
• Expertise in EBS patching using AD Utilities (adpatch, adadmin, adrelink).
• Knowledge of EBS architecture, including Concurrent Managers, Workflow, and Oracle Forms/OAF.
• Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
