TASKS WITH IMPACT

• Together with the functional consultants, process owners and product owners, you develop software concepts, program applications in SAP (ABAP), and create the corresponding documentation
• You work on tailored software solutions when individual developments are required to close gaps in the standard software
• You are responsible for the creation and monitoring of interfaces between SAP and connected systems – with a special focus on the data supply of logistics applications such as Relex – to ensure seamless data and value flows
• Independently testing developed solutions, present them, and transfer them to live operation after approval by the Change Advisory Board
• The operation and monitoring of applications and IT processes are also part of your responsibilities, ensuring availability for our business partners
• As part of the 3rd-level support, you identify and resolve errors in SAP
• Coordinating external service providers during projects, in phases of change, and in day-to-day operations, ensuring that services are delivered on time, in high quality, and in accordance with internal guidelines
• To ensure the maintainability of SAP, you create and optimize programming guidelines and keep the code up to date with the latest standards

YOUR SKILLS

• You have a degree in a technical field or a comparable qualification in the IT sector
• You bring more than five years of experience in SAP application development
• You are familiar with logistics processes and confident in handling inventory change processes and data flows in and out of the SAP system
• You have in-depth knowledge of modern programming techniques and programming languages
• Fluent German and English skills are a must
