About the Role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help design, build, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure. In this role, you’ll collaborate with engineering teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure with tools like Terraform and AWS CDK, and support the delivery of secure, high-performance applications. You’ll play a key role in driving system reliability, cloud automation, and operational efficiency across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure: Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure in AWS using services like EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, and RDS with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.
• Kubernetes: Manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads, including deployment strategies, scaling, and high availability.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline to streamline code delivery and testing.
• Infrastructure as Code: Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
• Monitoring & Observability: Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Loki, or CloudWatch to ensure system health.
• Security & Compliance: Apply security best practices across infrastructure, including IAM policies, network segmentation, and access control.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams to integrate infrastructure into the development workflow, troubleshoot issues, and roll out new tooling.
• Automation & Optimization: Improve performance and reduce operational overhead through automation and efficient resource use.
• Documentation & Mentorship: Document system architecture and workflows. Share knowledge and support junior engineers through mentoring and code reviews.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Cloud Engineering roles
• Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture
• Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments
• Expertise with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline
• Experience implementing observability tools and maintaining system health
• Solid understanding of cloud security and IAM practices
• Strong communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or SysOps)
• Experience with serverless tools (e.g., AWS Lambda, Step Functions)
• Exposure to other cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP
• Knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
• Experience with cloud-native databases and performance tuning in distributed systems
