Here's what you can look forward to

Work in an agile squad to develop and deliver the internal Development Platform to enable all other squads at ista
You will accompany software development squads on their journey to the cloud with consulting and mentoring on the CI/CD process and enable them to cloud- native DevOps operating models ("you build it, you run it") with the lowest possible ops overhead and fast time- to- market
Design the overall technical architecture for our DevOps platform together with the squad
Stay up to date with new trends on the market, select new technologies and integrate them into our modern CI/CD process to help the squads to continuously improve quality, security, speed and maintainability
Solid understanding of the concept of Platform Engineering, and are able to articulate the vision to other squads
In your chapter "DevOps Engineering" you collaborate on the strategy and vision for our transformation of DevOps and Cloud and share impulses and best practices with your peers

What we require of you

At least 3 years of professional experience in CI tools (GitLab and GitLab- CI), Continuous Deployment Tools (ArgoCD) and cloud orchestration with infrastructure- as- code (Terraform)
Experience with hyperscaler clouds (e.g. Azure) and the associated infrastructure and PaaS/CaaS product suite (e.g. networking, serverless functions, app services, managed Kubernetes, databases)
Knowledge of the container ecosystem (Docker), container orchestrators (Kubernetes). Knowledge of Crossplane is a bonus
Understanding of the concept of Platform Engineering, and are able to articulate the vision to other squads
You can code (which language is not important)
Hands- On mentality and an eye for details - without losing sight of the big picture. Drive for complexity reduction
Ideally, you make targeted use of modern AI tools such as GPT, Copilot, or similar technologies to optimize workflows, generate content, analyze data, and automate recurring tasks
Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to handle different squads and stakeholders’ requirements
