Senior Electrical Engineer

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team in a technically challenging role focused on the planning, implementation, and supervision of electrical systems within industrial facilities.

This position offers the chance to work on complex infrastructure and process-related projects, where your expertise in electrical power engineering and project coordination will be essential!

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning, acquisition, installation, commissioning, documentation, and upkeep of low and medium-voltage electrical systems within industrial facilities and associated infrastructure, ensuring alignment with applicable engineering standards and internal protocols.
• Supervise on-site personnel during installation phases to ensure strict adherence to safety and compliance regulations.
• Establish and manage the budget and project timeline specific to the electrical engineering scope within broader capital or maintenance projects.
• Develop detailed functional specifications and technical documentation for electrical system design and integration.
• Coordinate and monitor the technical execution of design and installation tasks conducted by external contractors or engineering service providers.
• Fulfill the role of designated electrical supervisor (as defined by relevant safety and technical standards, e.g., DIN VDE : ).

Your Qualifications:

• A university degree in electrical engineering with a specialization in electrical power systems or a comparable qualification
• A minimum of five years of professional experience in electrical engineering, preferably within an industrial or process-driven environment
• Proficient in the design, construction, and commissioning of electrical switchgear and capable of performing load analysis and network design
• In-depth understanding of electrical system protection, switching operations, and strong familiarity with applicable industry regulations and legal requirements
• More than three years of hands-on project management experience, especially in overseeing design, implementation, and commissioning phases
• Strong communication abilities and demonstrated success in coordinating multidisciplinary teams and external partners
• Fluent German speaking is required for this position.
