Role Purpose

The Senior Engineer will lead engineering delivery on complex construction projects, ensuring technical excellence, quality assurance, and adherence to programme and budget. This role combines hands-on site leadership with mentoring responsibilities for junior engineers and technical staff.



Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the engineering team on site, ensuring all works meet design, safety, and quality requirements.
• Oversee setting out, technical queries, and review of method statements and risk assessments.
• Liaise with design teams, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor progress against the programme and provide accurate reporting to the Project Manager.
• Review drawings and specifications for compliance and buildability.
• Ensure all work is carried out to the company’s ISO standards and local regulatory requirements.
• Support cost control and value engineering initiatives.


Person Specification
• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Relevant experience in heavy civil / CSA works, preferably in data centre or industrial sectors.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and setting-out equipment (GPS, Total Station).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Fluent in English (other European languages advantageous).
• EU passport holder
