Senior Engineer for Power Electronics in Technical Sales (m/f/d)

We are a reliable partner in the field of power electronics with our team of about 80 highly qualified employees.

Since 1962, EUROATLAS GmbH has been developing and producing robust, reliable, and highly precise power electronics (voltage converters, frequency converters, power supply devices) for modern military and civil applications.

We provide both the development or further development of electronic designs from concept to series production, as well as series production and the execution of service/support for the entire product life cycle.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

1. Analyze system requirements for feasibility in terms of performance, external dimensions, and costs
2. Develop and validate the power electronic system architecture for new projects
3. Estimate development effort and risks for both new and adaptation developments
4. Create convincing technical descriptions for our customers to successfully acquire projects

Our requirements:

1. Successfully completed degree (Master's/Diploma) in Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics or a comparable field
2. Relevant knowledge and several years of professional experience in the development of power electronic systems
3. Excellent knowledge of topologies and control of switched-mode circuits as well as power semiconductor components
4. Knowledge of inductive components; experience in the field of battery charging systems is an advantage
5. Excellent methodological knowledge in development processes for complex technical systems
6. Experience in using CAE tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, EAGLE, SPICE)
7. Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
8. Independent, systematic, and goal-oriented working style
