    Senior Event Manager Job Description
    Your Role

    As a Senior Event Manager, you’ll take ownership of our global event strategy—from selecting the right opportunities to executing memorable brand experiences that drive growth. You’ll work hand-in-hand with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to ensure every event delivers impact, strengthens our presence, and generates high-quality leads.

    Beyond logistics, you will play a critical role in positioning emnify as an innovator and thought leader. This means proactively analyzing event streams and themes, understanding competitor presence, and identifying key attendees, so you can pitch the right topics and ensure every event is aligned with our content strategy and brand positioning.

    You’ll join a collaborative GTM team and play a key role in a fast-moving business operating at the intersection of technology, telecom, and Software-as-a-Service.

    Ideally, this position will be based in emnify’s office in Berlin.


    Your Impact

    • Lead the end-to-end planning and flawless execution of global trade shows, conferences, and executive events to elevate emnify’s brand and drive lead generation.
    • Develop and execute a strategic annual event roadmap in close alignment with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing.
    • Provide clear event briefs and concise summaries so internal stakeholders have the context they need — including attendee insights, session opportunities, and event themes.
    • Translate event opportunities (panels, speaking slots, session streams) into actionable recommendations for content and thought leadership.
    • Proactively track competitor activity and industry trends to inform event positioning and strengthen our presence.
    • Oversee all event logistics—from booth design to vendor management—ensuring brand consistency and operational excellence.
    • Innovate with new event formats and experiences to deepen engagement with prospects and customers.
    • Manage event budgets effectively, balancing impact with cost-efficiency and securing necessary approvals.


    Your Skills

    • Proven experience independently managing end-to-end B2B trade shows and events, ideally within tech or SaaS industries.
    • Strong collaborator with Sales and Customer Success, aligning event strategy to pipeline generation and customer engagement.
    • Skilled in strategic planning, logistics, and on-site execution, with a track record of managing six-figure budgets responsibly.
    • Proficient in using CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot to track event ROI and lead conversion.
    • Excellent communicator in English with a proactive, hands-on mindset and willingness to travel internationally.
    • Detail-oriented and process-driven: able to provide accurate summaries, follow established briefing structures, and ensure stakeholders always have a clear source of truth.
    • Proactive ownership and accountability: anticipates needs, identifies gaps, and follows through reliably with minimal oversight.
